Program Goals
Scholarship Program
PRO*ACT’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Scholarship Program provides grants to young women who are headed for a relevant major (such as Agribusiness or Supply Chain Management) and are looking to contribute to the fresh produce workforce. The WLI Scholarship Program is more than just a scholarship – it is an opportunity to invest in the future of fresh produce.
The grants can be made available for any college/university in the United States that is offering the designated majors laid out in the program rubric. Grants will be awarded via input from a panel of supply chain professionals, working from a requirements voting rubric.

Eligibility Requirements
- Be a woman
- Be a current college junior or senior
- Be enrolled or committed to a relevant program major
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.75
- Demonstrate a financial need
- Demonstrate dedication to the industry
