In 1990, six independent foodservice distributors joined forces to achieve a competitive advantage through consolidated purchasing, collective marketing, and networking. They called the initiative “Produce Regional Operators Advancing Cooperative Trade.” Today, most people know us as PRO*ACT.

The PRO*ACT family is now more than 50 distributors strong and our collective power is impressive with 71 distribution facilities servicing North America. Each distributor is committed to achieving “the perfect order” – which means delivering the right product at the right time, meeting the right specs and all at the right price. It’s a lofty goal, but that’s how we strive for excellence.
