Cultivating Change Farmer Profile | Poché Family Farm
Poché Family Farm is a 3 acre local farm located in Independence, Louisiana. They grow a majority of the Southeast vegetables. Grant funds were used to offset the cost of installing two high tunnels. These high tunnels benefit the farm by lengthening the growing season, increasing yield, and improving quality; and benefit the environment by reducing the use of products that aim to control pests and disease.
