Forward, which late last year changed its name from Northern Light Produce Network, serves customers in Edmonton, Calgary, Central and Northern Alberta, the Northwest Territories and the
Yukon.
Founded by Harlan Light in the 1980s, Fresh Forward was purchased by Craig Mackenzie in 2003. “We are proud to be the first Western Canadian member of PRO*ACT,” says Mackenzie, who is the company’s president. “Fresh is what we do, so our cultures match up. We feel privileged to come on board with such a respected and dynamic company as Pro*Act and are excited to be able to benefit from their food safety, supply chain management and sustainability expertise as we continue to grow our company.”
