PRO*ACT, a leading fresh produce supplier to the foodservice industry, announced today Brian Kane assumed the post of Vice President of Client Services on July 1st. Brian will lead the company’s CS team that is dedicated to developing and managing perishable sourcing and distribution programs for multi-unit restaurant operators.
Brian Kane has over 15 years experience in the foodservice industry. Most recently Brian held the position of Senior Director of Purchasing at RARE Hospitality, Intl., where he spent eight years in positions of increasing responsibility related to category management, commodity purchasing, and the management of broadline and produce distribution. Previously he held positions with Don Pablo’s (Avado Brands, Inc.) and Apple South, Inc. where his experience included restaurant openings, food-costing, commodity contracting, and menu development in addition to purchasing management.
