PRO*ACT Announces Kirkland Director Client Services

PRO*ACT, a leading fresh produce supplier to the foodservice industry, announced it has appointed Dave Kirkland as a Director of Client Services.

Dave brings over 15 years of produce knowledge and management experience to Pro*Act. Prior to joining Pro*Act, Dave spent 15 years with Fresh America/DiMare Fresh in positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was the General Manager of DiMare Fresh – Dallas, where he had P&L responsibility. During his long tenure, Dave also held the positions of Corporate Director of Transportation, Corporate Director Programs and Senior Buyer. He was involved at the national level with procurement, logistics and management of multi-unit foodservice and retail programs, creating successful preferred grower/shipper and logistics relationships for contracts.

PRO*ACT provides consolidated produce and perishable distribution, sourcing and technology programs to foodservice operators through it’s network of distributors from over 66 distribution centers nationwide. Dave will be responsible for obtaining and developing new multi-unit program business along with providing value-added services to current Pro*Act customers.
