PRO*ACT, America’s leading distributor of fresh produce to the foodservice industry, has awarded its Client Services Manager of the Year award to Buzz Morrissey, Vice President of Sales at Hearn Kirkwood, Hanover, Md. The award was presented to Morrissey at PRO*ACT’s Annual Sales & Procurement Conference in Phoenix.
A 29-year foodservice distribution industry veteran, Morrissey has been with Hearn Kirkwood for nine years. In his role as PRO*ACT Client Services Manager, he serves as the direct contact and customer liaison for Hearn Kirkwood on all issues related to PRO*ACT managed customers business.
“Buzz and the entire Hearn Kirkwood organization work diligently and creatively to ensure that PRO*ACT end-user customer programs are executed and delivered to the highest degree of proficiency and to identify strong new business opportunities,” said Brian Kane, PRO*ACT Vice President of Client Services. “He’s a real asset to PRO*ACT, to Hearn Kirkwood and to the clients with whom he works. Prior to joining Hearn Kirkwood, Morrissey held senior management positions with Alliant/Atlantic Foodservice, Baer Foods and PYA/Monarch. He’s a member of the American Culinary Federation, Buy Fresh Buy Local Chesapeake Region, and Future Harvest – Chesapeake Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture.
